Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - a structured, goal-oriented approach focussed on identifying and changing unhelpful thinking patterns, beliefs, and behaviours
Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) - an integrative approach to support people experiencing high levels of shame and self-criticism
EMDR therapy - supports recovery from trauma and distressing life experiences by reprocessing difficult memories and reducing their emotional impact
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) - focussed on improving interpersonal relationships and social functioning
Coaching Psychology - focussed on enhancing performance and well-being in work and personal life (for individuals without clinically significant mental health conditions)
ADHD Assessment and Coaching - UKAAN trained
Dr Power provides a calm, respectful therapeutic space. Her approach is grounded, compassionate, yet clear and direct, supporting clients while addressing difficulties in a thoughtful and practical way
Alongside her clinical work, she has experience in research and contributes to the field of psychology through research, publications, professional supervision and mental health advocacy. She provides training within the NHS and is a Coaching Psychologist registered with ISCP and offers clinical supervision to trained psychologists.
