Er ist Abteilungsvorstand der Klinik für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie der Klinik Floridsdorf in Wien und ehm. Präsident der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Wirbelsäulenchirurgie. Weiters war er Vorstand der Abteilung für Orthopädie am LKH Feldkirch, Schwerpunktkrankenhaus des Landes Vorarlberg, sowie Chefarzt der Klinik für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie in Leverkusen/Deutschland.
