About Dr Carolyn McIvor
Dr. Carolyn McIvor is a gastroenterologist with a special interest in endoscopy and colonoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, and women's digestive health. After graduating from Queensland, she travelled to Nebraska to complete her Gastroenterology training, earning her FRACP and certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1993. Dr. McIvor brings a wealth of expertise in hepatology, upper and lower endoscopy, and the management of complex gastrointestinal conditions. She currently consults at Nundah, performs procedures at North West Private Hospital and Wesley Hospital and admits inpatients to Wesley Hospital, North West Private Hospital and St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. She is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach to care. Dr. McIvor's clinical interests and extensive training enable her to deliver exceptional diagnostic and therapeutic services, helping patients achieve optimal digestive health.
