About

Dr Camilla Nederstrom qualified as a Doctor in 2012 and completed her GP training in 2018. Since medical school she has had an interest in all aspects of Women’s Health which is reflected in the qualifications she has gained, such as Diplomas from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (DRCOG), the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH) and the Menopause Skills Module theoretical component by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She is also trained in fitting and removal of contraceptive intrauterine devices and subdermal implants and has been doing so on a regular basis for several years. In her day to day work she has covered all aspects of Women’s Health with recently more emphasis on Menopause care. She a member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health, the British Menopause Society and the Primary Care Women’s Health and attends regular education events to ensure her knowledge is up to date to be able to discuss and offer the latest evidence based  treatment options, which might not always be HRT.

Dr Nederstrom’s other specialist interest is Dermatology and she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at the Queen Mary University of London in 2019 and is a member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society. For the last few years she has worked in an NHS Dermatology Clinic treating patients with lesions, rashes, hair disorders and excess sweating  and holds regular Skin Surgery, Cryotherapy and Steroid injection clinics.

Whether a patient attends for a mole check or with a more complex problem, Dr Nederstrom always works in a very holistic and patient centred way to achieve a mutual management plan.
