About Dr Budhima Nanayakkara
Dr Budhima Nanayakkara is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician. They were raised in Cooma in the Snowy Mountains and have always been passionate about practising rural medicine. Dr Nanayakkara completed both their undergraduate and postgraduate medical degrees at the Australian National University, receiving first-class honours and the University Medal for both degrees. They have a keen interest in teaching and have been recognised with awards for their contributions to teaching medical students, junior doctors, and registrars. Dr Nanayakkara treats all respiratory and sleep medicine patients, including those with non-respiratory sleep disorders.
