About Dr Brian Leaker

Dr Brian Leaker is based at Fitzrovia Hospital and has dedicated his career to clinical research and improving patient care. He obtained his medical degree in Cardiff, completed higher training in nephrology and general medicine in North America, Australia and London, and holds a Doctorate in Medicine. He undertook post-doctoral studies at University College London and began his career as a consultant nephrologist at the Royal Free Hospital, developing an interest in clinical pharmacology along the way. He has authored more than 200 scientific papers and articles on various topics relevant to his field of expertise, including asthma treatment and incontinence. Dr Leaker is the founder of Respiratory Clinical Trials Ltd. (www.respiratoryclinicaltrials.co.uk) and Nephro-urology Clinical Trials Ltd., both of which have successfully developed new pharmaceuticals. He also founded St Queen Anne Street Medical Centre (www.qasmc.com), a specialised emergency care facility that includes a clinical research department and laboratory dedicated to conducting early-stage asthma allergy medication research, among other studies on FDC drugs, as well as introducing new drugs into urology and Andrology.
