About Bree Turner
Bree Turner is a Registered Nurse and Credentialed Diabetes Educator with a deep personal connection to her work, having lived with Type 1 diabetes for many years. Her passion for diabetes education stems from her own experiences, and she understands the complexities and challenges that come with managing the condition. Bree is dedicated to providing supportive, non-judgemental care, helping individuals and their families navigate diabetes and achieve their health goals. Bree completed a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Tasmania before pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing. She worked as a Clinical Nurse in both Emergency and Intensive Care at the Royal Hobart Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. Later, Bree completed a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education at Deakin University, becoming a Credentialed Diabetes Educator. She has worked across multiple hospitals in Melbourne, gaining extensive experience in helping people manage all types of diabetes. Bree is also a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer and a Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems Trainer.
