About Dr Birgit Marchand
Dr. Birgit Marchand is a highly respected Consultant Paediatric Allergist and Clinical Immunologist with a deep commitment to providing specialised care for infants, children, and adolescents with allergic and immunological diseases. With years of experience in the field, she is dedicated to helping children lead full and healthy lives. Dr. Marchand's clinic is conveniently located in Southport, Gold Coast, and she also attends to patients at John Flynn Private Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1987. She furthered her medical qualifications by obtaining her AMC Certificate from the Australian Medical Council in 2012. Additionally, she completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in the Paediatric and Child Health Division in Australia in 2018.
