Mr Billy Wong

Mr. Billy Wong is an experienced ENT, head and neck, thyroid, and parathyroid surgeon based in Ipswich and Colchester. He specializes in both benign and malignant head and neck conditions, with a focus on thyroid and parathyroid surgery and robotic oncology. After qualifying in medicine in 2010, Mr. Wong completed an Advanced Head and Neck/Thyroid/Robotic Oncology Fellowship at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. He is a core member of the Head and Neck and Thyroid Multidisciplinary Teams at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. An active researcher with 23 publications in PubMed-indexed journals, Mr. Wong leads multi-centre randomized controlled trials. For the neck and throat, he treats thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland disorders, neck lumps, tonsillitis/tonsil stones, persistent hoarseness, and pharyngeal pouch. His procedures include total/hemithyroidectomy, parotidectomy, excision of the submandibular gland, parathyroidectomy, excision of neck lumps, coblation tonsillectomy, pharyngeal pouch surgery, and laryngeal/vocal cord surgery. In the nose, Mr. Wong addresses nose bleeds, nasal blockage, nasal polyps, and sinusitis, offering procedures like septoplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), endoscopic nasal polypectomy, and turbinate surgery.
