Respiratory Medicine
About
Dr Jennings's desire to help others has been a driving force since his school and university days. He understands the significance of breathing and quality sleep, which can often be taken for granted but can cause significant distress when there are issues.
Dr Jennings holds the position of Director of Lung Cancer and Bronchoscopy at Monash Health, where he chairs the Lung Cancer Multidisciplinary Team Meeting. He has special expertise in investigating lung lesions and managing patients with lung cancer. He performs bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) procedures at Monash, Cabrini, and Epworth Hospitals.
He graduated in medicine from Monash University in 2002. He completed his specialist training at Monash Medical Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital. During his training, he expanded his experience by conducting cardiology research in Oxford, UK. He obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2010. In 2011, he completed a clinical fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology and Lung Cancer management at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth.
