About Mr Aziz Haque
Mr Haque is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery, with expertise in managing both soft tissue injuries and degenerative conditions of the upper limb. He practices evidence-based medicine, combining non-surgical management with minimally invasive keyhole procedures and open surgery for soft tissue reconstruction and joint replacement. Mr Haque grew up in Birmingham and completed his medical studies at Leicester Medical School, where he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in research with honours. After higher specialist surgical training in Leicester, he undertook sub-specialist shoulder and elbow fellowships in Derby and Sheffield. He then served as a consultant at a Major Trauma Centre in Birmingham and completed an international British Elbow and Shoulder Society travelling fellowship, gaining experience at leading centres in America and Canada. He currently holds a consultant position at University Hospitals of Leicester, spanning all three hospital sites, with a dedicated practice in elective shoulder and elbow surgery alongside general trauma care. Mr Haque is also actively involved in medical education and the training of future orthopaedic surgeons, combining clinical expertise with teaching excellence.
