Dr. Athirai Selvarajah graduated with a BDS from Queen Mary University of London in 2014, before moving to Suffolk to complete her vocational training in general practice. She then went on to secure a post at The Princess Alexandra Hospital as a Senior House Officer, working in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery department. It was here that Athirai was exposed to oral surgery, and she worked to further her skills and knowledge in the specialty.
Dr Selvarajah then utilised these skills working in hospitals and major trauma centres across London and Cornwall whilst earning her RCSEd MFDS qualification. Aside from oral surgery, Dr Selvarajah is qualified to provide non-surgical interventions for her patients, and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry treatments such as tooth whitening, cosmetic composite bonding and short term braces. She is also qualified to administer facial aesthetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle and dermal filler procedures.
With her years of experience in multidisciplinary areas of dentistry, and postgraduate qualifications, Dr Selvarajah is passionate about building a lasting relationship with patients in her clinics. She is keen to listen to every patients' needs and use the latest options to meet them; Athirai is an approachable and caring dental practitioner who can put nervous patients at ease and work with them to achieve their goals.
