His expertise includes joint preservation and high-functioning joint replacement surgery, including partial and total knee replacements (including complex knee arthroplasty), as well as uncemented and cemented hip replacements (including dual mobility implants). For selected patients, he also offers arthroscopic knee surgery, including meniscal surgery and repair.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Mannan has published extensively on topics related to knee replacement surgery, such as the role of assistive technology and the outcomes of fixed-bearing partial knee replacement surgery.
