About Mr Anshul Sobti
Mr Anshul Sobti is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and also sees patients at New Victoria Hospital in Kingston upon Thames. He specialises in adult hip and knee surgery, sports injuries, keyhole knee surgery, and paediatric orthopaedics.
Mr Sobti studied Medicine in Mumbai, India, and completed his orthopaedic training and fellowship at P D Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai. He further enhanced his training with several UK-based fellowships, including at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital, The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. He is fellowship-trained in complex trauma, hip and knee replacement, and paediatric orthopaedics.
He treats a wide range of conditions including hip and knee arthritis, meniscal injuries, patellar instability, and ligament problems, as well as fractures and limb deformities in children and young adults. His clinical expertise includes total and partial hip and knee replacements, knee arthroscopy and meniscal repair, joint preservation surgery, intra-articular injections, and management of paediatric gait disorders and limb alignment.
Mr Sobti is currently the Trauma Director at Hillingdon Hospital and Clinical Governance Lead for the Orthopaedic Service. He also serves as the Orthopaedic Module and Musculoskeletal Block Lead for medical students at Brunel Medical School. He has presented widely at national and international scientific meetings and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
He believes in a patient-centred approach and shared decision-making, and takes pride in delivering culturally competent care informed by his training in both India and the UK.
