About Dr Andreas Wagner
Dr. med. Andreas Wagner absolvierte sein Medizinstudium an der Universität Wien. Während seines Studiums sammelte er bereits praktische Erfahrung im Pflegedienst bei Patienten mit Knochenmarkstransplantationen. Nach seiner Promotion im Jahr 1989 folgte die Ausbildung zum Facharzt für Innere Medizin am AKH Wien. Diese umfasste Tätigkeiten an der 2. Med. Univ. Klinik für Innere Medizin, der Univ. Klinik für Notfallmedizin sowie den Kliniken für innere Medizin I (Hämatologie, Onkologie), II (Kardiologie) und III (Nephrologie). Im Juni 1995 erlangte er den Facharzttitel für Innere Medizin und im September desselben Jahres das Notarztdekret der Österreichischen Ärztekammer (ÖAK). Anschließend war er als Konsiliarinternist an der Universitätsklinik für Orthopädie tätig und erwarb im Dezember 1998 den Zusatzfacharzt für Intensivmedizin. Ab September 1999 übernahm er die Leitung der Intensivstation der III. medizinischen Abteilung für Kardiologie am LKH St. Pölten. Im März 2003 folgte der Facharzt für Kardiologie. Dr. med. Wagner ist Mitglied der Österreichischen Ärztekammer (ÖAK) und hat an zahlreichen Fortbildungen teilgenommen, darunter das Curriculum für Kardiologische Psychosomatik im Jahr 2008, welches ihm das Fortbildungsdiplom der ÖAK einbrachte.
