Dr Amal Alhamdan is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with disorders of the vascular system. Dr Alhamdan holds a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, and a further Fellowship from Westmead University of Sydney in Australia. She is also a holder of the German and European Board in General Surgery. Her previous academic and leadership roles include serving as an Assistant Professor at King Saud University and as the Head of the Vascular Surgery Department at a major national hospital.
Her clinical practice focuses on a wide spectrum of vascular health issues. Dr Alhamdan has a special interest in the management of varicose veins, diabetic foot care, and addressing wounds with poor healing. She is also proficient in performing procedures related to dialysis access, including the creation of vascular and arterial connections for patients requiring renal dialysis.
