About Mr Alistair McKay
Mr Alistair McKay is a highly skilled Consultant Urological Surgeon. He has a strong academic background, having completed his medical degree in 2008, and a Masters degree in Physiology in 2011. He is a consultant in Greater Glasgow and Clyde and undertakes his private work at La Belle Forme clinic in Glasgow. Mr McKay has a specialist interest in renal surgery and the management of renal cancer, and he is a member of the specialist regional renal surgery team in Glasgow. He is experienced in a range of surgical techniques, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, and open surgery. In addition to renal surgery, his NHS practice covers the full spectrum of benign general urological conditions for both male and female patients. Mr McKay is passionate about research and training, and he has published extensively on surgical and urological topics. He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, where he acts as an Advisor of Studies and Educational Supervisor to medical students and junior doctors. With his impressive credentials and extensive experience, Mr McKay is committed to providing his patients with the highest standards of care, using the latest surgical techniques and technologies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
