He also gained experience working in the UK health sector, as he was awarded a Dermatology and Lymphovascular Medicine fellowship at St George's Hospital.
Since his Consultant appointment, Dr Gin has been awarded numerous prizes for his research and clinical practice, including the Herman Lawrence Prize. He is also passionate about staying up to date with the latest information in dermatology research, authoring numerous peer-reviewed articles in renowned medical journals. Dr Gin has also has presented his work at national and international conferences and is also actively involved in the medical education of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
