Dr Ahmed Daabis is a Specialist Neurologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Alexandria University in 2006 and began his neurology residency in 2008 at Damanhour Medical Institute, Egypt. He subsequently completed five years of higher training at Alexandria University Hospital before taking up specialist roles at Cairo University Hospital and As-Salam International Hospital. He also served as a Senior Registrar in Neurology at King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital, Jeddah.
Dr Daabis later moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked at Al Dhafrah Hospital, Abu Dhabi, before joining Burjeel Royal Hospital. He holds a Master’s degree in Neurology and Psychiatry from Ain Shams University (2015) and the Egyptian Board of Neurology (2018).
His clinical expertise includes the management of headaches, migraine, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases, spinal cord disorders, peripheral neuropathies, Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, dementia and memory-related conditions. He is skilled in comprehensive neurological examinations and both inpatient and outpatient care.
Dr Daabis is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the World Stroke Organization and the European Academy of Neurology, and holds professional licences in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
