About Dr Adam Woodbridge
Dr. Adam Woodbridge is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon and physiotherapist with extensive experience in providing comprehensive consulting and surgical services in Sydney, as well as the Mid North Coast region. Dr. Woodbridge earned his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2004. Following medical school, he completed his internship and residency at Royal North Shore Hospital, gaining valuable clinical experience. Dr. Woodbridge pursued advanced orthopaedic surgery training in Sydney, achieving in the award of a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2015. Dr. Woodbridge's dedication to advancing his expertise led him to pursue specialised training and fellowships in the United Kingdom. He completed a prestigious fellowship in hip arthroplasty in Exeter, UK, which is renowned as the design centre for the famous Exeter Hip prosthesis. This experience allowed him to develop expertise in complex primary and revision arthroplasty of the hip. Additionally, he undertook a fellowship in knee surgery with the Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit, further enhancing his skills in knee surgery, including arthroscopic procedures. Dr. Woodbridge continually explores new treatment modalities for various conditions affecting the hip and knee that may require total joint replacement. He is well-versed in advanced techniques such as SPAIRE. Furthermore, his practice includes the management of soft tissue conditions, including injuries of the ACL, meniscus, patella, and chondral injuries. Dr. Woodbridge also offers services related to sports injuries, workplace injuries, and trauma.
