Dr Adam Ofri is a Specialist Breast and General Surgeon based in Sydney, Australia. Dr Ofri completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle in 2009 before undertaking his internship and residency at Prince of Wales Hospital, where he also completed a Master of Surgery. He completed surgical training through the North Shore surgical training network and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He subsequently completed BreastSurgANZ-accredited breast surgery fellowships at St Vincent’s Hospital in New South Wales and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Western Australia. He also completed a Master of Advanced Surgery in Breast Surgery at the University of Sydney.
Dr Ofri consults privately at Northern Breast Care at Mater Hospital in North Sydney and at GOALS in Bondi Junction. He also operates and holds appointments at North Shore Private Hospital, Mater Hospital & Clinic, Prince of Wales Private Hospital, Sydney Breast Clinic, and St Luke’s Care Hospital. In addition, he works as a Visiting Medical Officer Breast and General Surgeon at Bega Public Hospital.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Ofri is involved in research and medical education. He has worked as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Academic Institute of Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney. His research interests include breast cancer management, tailored breast screening, and surgical approaches aimed at reducing treatment-related morbidity.
