Stork, PhD verfügt über zusätzliche Ausbildungen im Bereich der neuromuskulären Erkrankungen, die er an der Universitätsklinik Utrecht absolvierte. Zudem spezialisierte er sich in Neuroonkologie am niederländischen Krebsinstitut AvL-NKI in Amsterdam. Neben seiner klinischen Tätigkeit engagiert sich Dr. med. Stork, PhD auch in der Forschung. Er war wissenschaftlich an den National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, Maryland, USA), an der Universität Utrecht und an der Erasmus Universität Rotterdam (Niederlande) tätig. Dr. med. Stork, PhD ist Mitglied der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Neurologie und der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Klinische Neurophysiologie. Im Jahr 2021 wurde ihm die Bezeichnung "Fellow of the European Board of Neurology (FEBN)" verliehen.
