Dr Abdullah Albarrak is a highly qualified Consultant Surgeon with a focus on bariatric and advanced laparoscopic procedures. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients, utilising minimally invasive surgical techniques to support patient recovery and wellbeing. His expertise also extends to general surgery and trauma care.
Dr Albarrak obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from King Khalid University in Saudi Arabia. He holds a Master's degree in Health Professions Education from Maastricht University. He completed his training with the Saudi Board in General Surgery and further honed his skills by undertaking two fellowships in Canada at the University of British Columbia, specialising in Trauma and Critical Care Surgery, and Bariatric and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery.
He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Majmaah University and is an active member of several professional organisations. His memberships include the Saudi Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), and the American Society for Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
