Das St. Rochus Krankenhaus Steinheim versorgt Patientinnen und Patienten mit Innere Medizin und Altersmedizin, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Seniorenhaus St. Rochus. St. Rochus ist der kleinste Standort im Verbund Klinikum Weser-Egge und gleichzeitig Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus der Universität Göttingen. Der fachliche Schwerpunkt liegt in der Akutgeriatrie sowie der internistischen Altersmedizin. Dazu gehören Alters-Chirurgie, besonders die postoperative Nachsorge älterer, mehrfach und chronisch erkrankter Patienten.
