Milligan Court Care Home services up to 10 residents with learning disabilities and/or complex needs. Based in South Leicester with easy access to local shops and the city centre, Milligan Court provides assistance to adults who need help to live independently in a safe and effective environment. Milligan Court prides itself on offering high quality care by providing an active leisure-life balance to promote independent living skills and increasing community engagement levels in service users.
Milligan Court Care Home staff works with the service users to support a more independent lifestyle, by working with the services users to plan individual support and ambitions, providing joint reviews on service user progress, utilising carers and professionals to provide a consistent stream of support. Milligan Court also provides its service users with the opportunity to undertake leisure activities and provide support with daily life activities such as healthy eating, mental health, personal safety, budgeting, nutrition and medication. Service users also gain such chances to meaningfully engage with the wider community. Milligan Court staff take the time to listen and provide support according to the wishes of service users, and remain flexible in using different approaches to help service users reach their goals.
