Milford Hospice provides specialist palliative care to patients and their families living with life-limiting illnesses in the Mid-West region of Ireland. Their team of dedicated healthcare professionals offers a range of services, including symptom management, emotional support, and spiritual care.
The hospice offers both inpatient and outpatient care. Inpatient care is provided at their 24-bed unit in Castletroy, Limerick, where patients can receive around-the-clock medical attention and support. Outpatient care is available at their Day Care Centre, where patients can access a variety of services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and counselling.
Milford Hospice also provides bereavement support to families who have lost a loved one. Their bereavement team offers individual and group counselling, as well as practical support and information.
The hospice relies on the generosity of the community to continue providing its vital services. Donations can be made online or by post.
