A specialised ultrasound, known as a Doppler scan, is then performed to image and assess the veins beneath the skin causing varicose veins. This detailed scan creates a map of the leg veins, aiding in the diagnosis of vein disease and determining its severity.
The Doctors then discuss and confirm the best treatment options for each patient. Advanced Vein Clinics takes pride in providing cutting-edge treatments that effectively remove varicose veins in a single session, minimising scarring and eliminating the need for hospital admission. The range of advanced treatments includes phlebectomy, sclerotherapy, and VenaSeal.
