Dr Elliott consults at Specialist Centre Ballarat. Dr Elliott completed their medical degree at the University of Melbourne and undertook physician and gastroenterology training in Melbourne and Sydney. Dr Elliott completed a 4 year inflammatory bowel disease fellowship at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals London and has a PhD in Crohn's disease pathogenesis from the University of Melbourne. Dr Elliott also undertook a colonoscopy and endoscopic mucosal resection fellowship at St Mark's Hospital London in 2013. Dr Elliott is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) member. Their endoscopic practice is fully recognised by the Conjoint Committee of Endoscopy and their colonoscopy practice is recertified by GESA. Dr Elliott is a faculty member for GESA colonoscopy teaching workshops in Melbourne. They are also a lecturer at Melbourne University and supervises registrar and junior doctor training at Ballarat Health Services.
