About
She completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Tasmania before undertaking surgical training at The Austin Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. She achieved her Fellowship in General Surgery in 2004, followed by advanced subspecialty training in endocrine surgery.
Her fellowship training included a year at Royal North Shore Hospital, one of Australia’s leading centres for endocrine surgery, and further specialist experience at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. She also gained international experience in Marseille, France, where she worked under Professor Jean-Francois Henry, a former president of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
After returning to Melbourne, Dr Harding established her own endocrine surgical practice and has since continued to provide a comprehensive range of general surgical procedures, with a particular emphasis on endocrine conditions. Her clinical interests include thyroid disease, parathyroid disorders, and adrenal gland conditions.
She remains committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring her practice reflects the latest advancements in surgical care and delivers safe, effective, and up-to-date treatment for her patients.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
