About Dr Birgit Stihsen
Dr. med. Birgit Stihsen ist Fachärztin für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe. Ihr Studium der Humanmedizin absolvierte sie in Wien, wo sie 2007 auch promovierte. Ihre Ausbildung zur Fachärztin erfolgte an der Universitätsfrauenklinik im AKH Wien, zusätzliche operative Erfahrung sammelte sie in der Abteilung für Gynäkologie und gynäkologische Onkologie im Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Schwestern Linz. Dr. med. Stihsen ist Inhaberin des Fortbildungsdiploms der Österreichischen Ärztekammer und verfügt über zahlreiche Zusatzqualifikationen, darunter das Kolposkopiediplom, das ÖGUM I-Diplom (Ultraschalldiplom für geburtshilflichen und gynäkologischen Ultraschall), die IOTA-Zertifizierung (Ultraschallzertifikat zur Beurteilung von Ovarialtumoren) und das AUB-Zertifikat (zertifizierte Fachärztin im Bereich Urogynäkologie und rekonstruktive Beckenbodenchirurgie). Darüber hinaus ist sie diplomierte Akupunkteurin der Österreichischen Ärztekammer. Dr. med. Stihsen ist Mitglied in mehreren Fachgesellschaften, darunter die Arbeitsgemeinschaft Urogynäkologie und plastische Beckenbodenrekonstruktion (AUB), die Österreichische Gesellschaft für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe (OEGGG) und die Österreichische Gesellschaft für Ultraschall in der Medizin (ÖGUM). Sie engagiert sich außerdem im Verein "Ärzte für Akupunktur".
