About
He was the inaugural recipient of the UK HEFCE Clinical Senior Lecturership award in Nuclear Medicine, highlighting his excellence in the field. Dr Du has led numerous national and international research projects and has authored first-authored research articles in prestigious oncology journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Blood, and Cancer Research. Since February 2011, he has served as the Clinical Lead for radionuclide therapy services at the Royal Marsden Hospital, the largest cancer centre in the UK.
Dr Du has treated a diverse range of conditions including thyrotoxicosis, thyroid cancer, lymphoma, neuroblastoma, neuroendocrine tumours, and prostate cancer. He was granted the first clinical ARSAC licence in the UK to treat prostate cancer patients with Lu-177-PSMA therapy in February 2018.
