About Ms Yasmin Palfrey
Ms Yasmin Palfrey is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University, where she graduated with first-class honours, and is currently completing an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy Practice. Ms Palfrey began her career within the NHS, where she gained broad clinical experience across sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, women’s health, and chronic pain management. During this time, she contributed to the development of rehabilitation protocols and classes for patients following anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, supporting their return to physical activity and sport. Her clinical approach combines manual therapy with tailored exercise rehabilitation, with additional training in acupuncture, dry needling, and massage. Ms Palfrey applies a holistic, evidence-based approach to care, integrating both physical and psychological aspects of recovery to optimise patient outcomes. She has particular clinical interests in hip and groin injuries, lower limb rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries, especially those associated with running and yoga. Alongside her physiotherapy work, she contributes as a freelance health journalist, writing on topics such as injury prevention, recovery, and physical wellbeing.
