Ms Una Archer
Psychotherapy
About
With a strong foundation in educational psychology and a deep understanding of these additional disciplines, Ms. Archer has channelled her expertise into providing an ADHD-informed family support service. Her mission is to empower and support parents, equipping them with the confidence and tools needed to navigate the challenges of parenting and build strong, secure parent-child relationships.
Ms. Archer's approach is grounded in the belief that parents have the capacity to nurture secure and healthy relationships with their children, regardless of their own upbringing or any adverse circumstances they may have faced. She draws upon a comprehensive toolkit of psychological theories and practices to guide her work, including attachment theory, systemic family practice, trauma therapy, and neuropsychology.
Her ultimate goal is to help parents develop the skills and understanding necessary to approach day-to-day parenting situations with greater confidence and a deeper connection to their children. By doing so, parents can create an environment where their child can fully embrace their unique self and thrive in all aspects of life that matter to them.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
