Ms Tess Lugos is a licensed acupuncturist. They practise a gentle Japanese style of acupuncture, using very fine needles. Treatment is tailored to the individual and their presenting condition.
Acupuncture is an ancient system of healing which originated in China over 2,500 years ago. It is based on the principle that our health is dependent on the body’s vital energy – known as Qi – circulating freely through a network of channels in the body called meridians. Acupuncture aims to restore the smooth flow of Qi where it has become blocked or deficient, encouraging the body’s natural healing response.
