Dr Hennessy graduated from UCD in 1989. He trained in Cardiology and General Internal Medicine at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital Dublin and Papworth and Addenbrooks Hospital, Cambridge. Dr Hennessy holds an MD in Medicine from UCD for studies on Stress Echocardiography. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and the European Society of Cardiology.
