About Dr Susanna Unsworth
Dr Susanna Unsworth is a General Practitioner with over a decade of experience specialising in Women's Health, including menopause and menstrual issues. Dr Unsworth sees private patients at Cambridge Women's Health, and centres her practice around creating a friendly environment in which patients can openly speak about their health problems. Dr Unsworth gained her primary medical qualification at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge, after which she studied Clinical medicine at the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine. She then went on to train in the East of England Deanery, and gained membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners, joining the GP register in 2010. Since qualifying, Dr Unsworth has developed her expertise by undertaking further study with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, along with completing a post-graduate diploma in community gynaecology at the University of Bradford. She has also gained the Advanced Menopause Specialist qualification from the British Menopause Society. Dr Unsworth currently works in an NHS role as a GP with special interest in community gynaecology, at Saffron Walden Community Hospital. She also works as a Specialty Doctor at Cambridge Breast Unit at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.
