Dr. Robertson began his career in North Yorkshire, later moving to Scotland, where he developed extensive experience in Remote and Rural General Practice and worked as an Emergency Practitioner at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. Returning to England in 2017, he transitioned into telemedicine, serving as a medical advisor, trainer, and analyst for an online healthcare provider. His work in this area focused on digital clinical governance, patient safety, and technology-driven healthcare delivery.
Alongside his telemedicine work, Dr. Robertson has continued to practise in mainstream general practice and out-of-hours medicine, including roles with Modality Partnership and Balance My Hormones Ltd, where he provides care in bio-identical and testosterone replacement therapy.
Combining his medical expertise with an interest in technology and data integration, Dr. Robertson is currently focused on applying artificial intelligence to enhance patient education and improve safety netting in primary care.
