In August 2023, Dr Sivakumar joined the University of Birmingham as an Associate Professor to lead an academic translational programme in one of Europe's largest Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) oncology units.
Nationally recognised for his work in pancreatic, biliary tract, and liver cancers, Dr Sivakumar has received prestigious accolades such as the NCRI Future of Research Award and the Royal College of Physicians Linacre Lecture.
