Miss Ong is a laparoscopic surgeon with special interest in gallbladder, liver and pancreatic diseases and hernia surgery. She graduated from University of Leicester Medical School in 2003 with an honours degree. During her surgical training, she obtained an MD with University of Leicester in 2015 and spent one year in Cambridge University Hospital working as a fellow in hepatobiliary and panreatic surgery. She has been a Consultant in general and Upper GI surgeon at Peterborough City Hospital simce 2017.
