He was awarded the prestigious Gordon Gordon-Taylor Medal for achieving the highest mark in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ surgical training examination in 2003.He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association in Sydney and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
