Dr. Sathish Kumar Parasuraman is a Consultant Cardiologist with a decade of experience in the field, specialising in intra vascular imaging and bifurcation lesion treatment. Sathish is currently based as Musgrove park Hospital in Taunton, treating both NHS and private patients.
Sathish qualified for medicine for medicine in 2004, after which he undertook specialist cardiology training and gained membership with the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), and also went on to undertake a PhD in Heart failure at the University of East Anglia. In addition to these qualifications, Sathish also gained fellowship in Coronation Intervention at the University Hospital Wales in 2019. Sathish is currently working as Interventional Cardiology Consultant at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, and is a member of the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society. Sathish is an expert in treating patients with angina and heart attack and is also the lead for cardiac rehabilitation at Musgrove.
Sathish is awarded fellowship of Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2020. Sathish is also a well respected researcher with over 10 peer reviewed published papers on a variety of topics regarding coronary imaging, coronary intervention and heart failure. Sathish has delivered impactful lectures on coronary intervention and cardiac rehabilitation in meetings in Europe, America and India.
