About
Mr Jacob has been practising as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2005. He has undertaken advanced fellowships in arthroscopy, arthroplasty and sports surgery in Adelaide (2006), Sydney (2008) and Melbourne (2014), further refining his expertise in minimally invasive and joint replacement techniques.
He has worked with Olympic and international athletes, including the Indian national hockey team and badminton squad, and has also served as a volunteer medical visitor to the Canberra Raiders rugby club. This experience has strengthened his expertise in sports injuries and high-performance orthopaedic care.
Mr Jacob has particular interests in orthopaedic sports medicine and trauma, with specialist expertise in arthroscopy and arthroplasty of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle. He is a member of the Australian Knee Society (AKS), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), and the Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS).
