About
Dr Begin has been dual trailed in both General Practice and Emergency Medicine and as a result has a particularly broad range of clinical experience and advanced procedural skills. He personally takes blood samples for his patients and is very happy to accommodate those with difficult veins or anxiety about having a blood sample taken.
Dr Begin has a special interest in acute illness and injury, preventative health and longevity, executive health care, paediatrics, men’s health, mental health, chronic disease management, end-of-life care, travel and immigration medicine. As a registered Panel Physician, Dr Begin is able to provide immigration medical examinations for Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
Outside of work, Dr Begin is married to Dr Arabella Simpkin Begin, an Oxford-educated paediatrician and celebrated author. Together, they have three young children and enjoy international travel, a wide range of outdoor activities, field sports, gardening and cooking as a family.
