About
Sammy graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy from Leeds Beckett University. Since then, she has developed her career with a strong focus on patient-centred care, working to ensure that people with learning disabilities receive equal access to high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic services. Her role as an Acute Liaison Learning Disability Physiotherapist involves not only delivering direct clinical care but also advocating for her patients, adapting treatments, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe and effective outcomes.
Sammy is passionate about improving communication and accessibility within healthcare. She is committed to evidence-based practice and strives to create supportive, empowering environments where her patients can achieve the best possible quality of life. Registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council, Sammy ensures that every patient she works with feels valued, understood, and actively involved in their care journey.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
