Dr Hassan completed his medical training and residency in general and vascular surgery at the Kasr Al Aini Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in Egypt between 2006 and 2009. He further advanced his skills by training at the School of Surgery at the Universite de Lorraine in France, where he was recognised for his outstanding performance in 2014. Throughout his career, he has held prominent academic and clinical roles, including serving as a Lecturer and Clinical Instructor. He is an active member of several prestigious professional organisations, joining the Vascular Society of Egypt in 2010 and the Egyptian Vascular Club in 2011, and he achieved Senior Consultant status with the Medical Syndicate of Egypt in 2017.
In his clinical practice, Dr Hassan specialises in both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular procedures. His areas of clinical interest include advanced aortic interventions, such as the repair of aortic aneurysms, as well as carotid surgery and stenting. He is also highly experienced in treating peripheral artery disease, chronic and acute limb ischaemia, venous diseases, and creating haemodialysis access. Furthermore, he utilises innovative techniques, including carbon dioxide-based endovascular interventions, to deliver optimal outcomes for his patients.
