Dr Saeedur Rahman serves as a Consultant Physician in General and Stroke Medicine at Spire Alexandra Hospital and Darent Valley Hospital. He has particular expertise in cryptogenic stroke and adept management of vascular risk factors such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidaemia.

With extensive experience across various medical fields, including acute and intensive care medicine in Singapore, Dr Rahman brings a broad understanding of general medical conditions to his practice. His areas of expertise encompass TIA, stroke and post-stroke complications, headache disorders, syncope and blackouts, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, metabolic syndrome, unexplained medical symptoms, falls, bone health, cognitive impairment, and venous thromboembolism.

Dr Rahman possesses advanced procedural skills, including the use of adhesive cardiac patch monitors and implantable loop recorders for cardiac arrhythmias, greater occipital nerve block for headache disorders, and intra-articular injections.

Dr Rahman contributes to relevant device evaluation committees with NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) and serves as the service lead for cryptogenic stroke, overseeing the establishment of various patient care pathways and integrated technologies.

In addition to his clinical role, Dr Rahman holds an honorary senior clinical lecturer position at King's College London, where he leads the Long Term Conditions module for final year MBBS students. He also serves as a clinical lecturer and Clinical Academic Tutor for Kent and Medway Medical School.
