Dr Rosy Manson
General Practice (GP)
About
Dr. Manson graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1999 and initially worked in Scotland before returning home to complete her GP training in 2005. She is now a GP partner in a busy training practice in County Down, combining general practice with her specialist dermatology work.
Her dedication to dermatology led her to complete a Diploma in Practical Dermatology and a Certificate in Dermoscopy, both from Cardiff University. Following this, she became an Honorary Tutor at Cardiff, supporting the education of fellow doctors. Since 2010, she has also worked as a GP with a Special Interest (GPwSI) in Dermatology for the South Eastern Trust, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions.
She has particular expertise in acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, female genital skin conditions, and offers personalised skin care advice. Outside of work, Dr. Manson is a wife and mother of two who enjoys hockey, hill walking, and outdoor activities, always with sunscreen at hand.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
