Dr Roger Bell
Vascular Surgery
About
His career took a significant turn when he assumed the role of head of Vascular Surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, where he collaborated closely with Prof Tony House, contributing to the establishment and progress of the Liver Transplant Programme in Western Australia. Simultaneously, as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, Dr. Bell made substantial contributions to vascular surgery and liver transplantation through extensive publications and lectures, while mentoring young surgeons.
In 2000, Dr. Bell relocated to Melbourne and joined Monash Medical Centre as a Vascular/Transplantation Surgeon. He quickly became an essential part of the Vascular and Transplant team, sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience. Dr. Bell's interest in addressing conditions like hyperhidrosis and facial blushing, which began during his time in WA, deepened in Melbourne, solidifying his reputation as Australia's leading surgeon in this specialized field.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
