Additionally, he is involved in research and has been the principal investigator on a number of gastroenterology trials.
Dr Shenderey has been a consultant with the NHS since 2009 predominantly at Airedale General Hospital in West Yorkshire, specialising in gastroenterology, and he is the clinical lead for the specialty.
Outside of the hospital, Dr Shenderey enjoys running. He is married and has three children and two dog.
