Dort war er zuletzt als Leiter des Allergie-Labors tätig. Seine Forschungstätigkeit im Bereich der Dermatologie führte zur Habilitation und Lehrtätigkeit an der Universität Freiburg.

Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Denfeld verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrung in der Behandlung von Hautkrankheiten. Seine Schwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der chronisch-entzündlichen Hauterkrankungen, der Behandlung von bösartigen Hauttumoren und der Allergologie.
